Project statement / English
Digital technology infiltrates our lives in a surreal yet subtle way, transforming everyday spaces into stages governed and observed by invisible systems. The photographs capture “anomalies” in the city—surveillance devices, advertising screens, artificial plants, and people constantly filming—revealing how technology quietly reshapes our relationship with the world. At the same time, staged still lifes turn mirrors, data cables, and time devices into symbolic “intruders,” creating a visual sense of a world experiencing a “system error.” Inspired by Hito Steyerl, Trevor Paglen, and Jon Rafman, the project poses a fundamental question: as technology permeates our perception and experience, is the world we inhabit still real, or has it already become an illusion rewritten by digital logic?
